Wedding at The Chicago Athletic Association

We will forever love Katrina and Will’s wedding at The Chicago Athletic Association in Downtown Chicago.

As a wedding photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio, and Chicago, I adore working with couples like Katrina and Will. They share a profound love for each other, cherish their families and friends, and embody a timeless and elegant aesthetic.

First Look

Katrina and Will decided to have a “First Look” before their ceremony in the Madison Ballroom. After several sweet and private moments together, they invited their bridal party and both of their families to witness the reading of their personal vows they wrote to each other. This gesture beautifully included the people who mean the most to them.

Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place at the iconic St. James Chapel in Downtown Chicago. St. James is over 100 years old and is considered the “hidden jewel” of Chicago. It’s stunning architecture and rich history made it a striking backdrop to Katrina and Will’s beautiful ceremony.

Reception

Following the ceremony, Katrina and Will treated their guests to a beautiful reception in the White City Ballroom. Tables were adorned with beautiful shades of white, cream, and taupe flowers, while the soft glow of candlelight added to the ambiance. After heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner, Katrina and Will performed a choreographed First Dance that set the tone for the rest of the night. Dancing, laughter, and emotions filled their entire wedding day and night, and we were thrilled to document it all for them.
