The Balsam and Blush Team was created in 2020 by Kelly Roberts, simply to serve her clients better.
The need for an associate team came from an influx of inquiries. Kelly wanted to continue to serve these clients, but was unwilling to compromise on the quality of experience she gave them. We believe each couple deserves a tailor-made experience from beginning to end. This includes attention to detail expertise and authentic story telling.

It’s always heartbreaking when I meet an incredible couple with a beautiful love story, but am unable to serve them on their wedding day due to already being booked or being out of budget.
A few years ago, I decided to be expand Balsam and Blush Photography to include additional lead photographers with the same passion and values as I share. This not only allows us to serve more couples, but at a lower price point, never compromising on quality of images and experience.

What is balsam and blush?
Balsam and Blush is the Associate Photography Team for Kelly Roberts. Founded by Kelly Roberts in 2012, Kelly captured the love stories of hundreds of couples seeking her romantic, timeless style. As her business expanded to include additional destinations, she formed a team of like-minded and skilled photographers to specifically serve Cleveland and surrounding areas. Our team now includes 4 Lead Photographers, Second Photographers, and Content Creators to give you the best wedding photography experience imaginable!.

All of your wedding images are curated and edited by Kelly Roberts.
WHICH PHOTOGRAPHER WILL SHOOT MY WEDDING
During your initial consultation call with Kelly, she will match you to the photographer who she feels will best suit your wedding style and personality. You will meet your Lead Photographer at your Engagement Session which will allow you to feel totally comfortable with them by the time your wedding day arrives.
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT FOR BALSAM AND BLUSH photography WEDDINGS
Our weddings start at 5000 for 8 hours of wedding day coverage, an engagement session and a gallery with high resolution images. Collections are easily customizable and once you set up your consultation call, you will receive a custom quote.

For the past four years, Heather has been capturing the magic of wedding days alongside the Balsam and Blush team. Her dedication to her couples knows no bounds. With her bubbly personality and contagious smile, she creates a fun and relaxed day for couples every time. Heather calls the Wooster area home, where she resides with her husband, Tyler, and their two beloved dogs. Beyond her talent behind the camera, Heather is passionate about traveling and has a love for exotic cars!

Nicole joined Balsam and Blush in 2022, and she's been a fantastic addition to our team ever since. Her tranquil presence instantly relaxes couples, and they adore how she effortlessly guides them into natural poses. When she’s not behind the lens, you can find her chasing adventures with her husband Jake and their little firecracker, Avery. Whether it’s traveling to new destinations, sweating it out at bootcamp or getting her hands dirty in the garden, she’s all about embracing life’s vibrant colors, especially if they’re shades of pink!

Crystal joined Kelly as her second photographer in 2015 and has continued on as a primary second shooter and virtual assistant. She is passionate about photographing weddings, particularly in capturing unposed moments, candid shots, and raw emotions. Her documentary style resonates deeply with couples. In her downtime, Crystal is a devoted mom to three active boys who keep her on her toes.

Kelly is an award winning photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio who photographs weddings in Chicago, Cleveland and other destinations. She has been photographing beautiful love stories for over a decade. In 2020, she started the Balsam and Blush Team to serve more couples in Northeast Ohio. When you choose a Balsam and Blush Photographer, Kelly will work side by side with you and your Lead Photographer from beginning to end for a wonderful, seamless experience.

CONSULTATION CALL
Once you fill out the inquiry form, we will check availability for your date and then you will receive a link to set up your face to face call with Kelly. During this call, she will get to know you and your story and vision for your wedding day. After the call, Kelly will send you your proposal and contract and connect you with a Lead Photographer that fits best with you.
CONTRACT AND SCHEDULE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Once you sign your contract, we will start customizing and planning your perfect engagement session, This session is where you will get to know your photographer.
PLANNING, DETAILS AND WEDDING DAY
You will never feel like a number when you work with us. From day one, you are part of our family, and you will receive a seamless experience from beginning to end. This includes questionnaires to get to know you better, help planning your photography time line, and collaborating with your vendor team to ensure a seamless day. Once your wedding day arrives you can be fully confident that you are in excellent hands.
GALLERY DELIVERY
Your Engagement Session Gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks. Your Wedding Preview Gallery will be delivered within 1 week
Your Final Wedding Gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding
