When Loren asked me to photograph her family, I was thrilled! Not only are they the cutest family EVER, but it’s always an honor to be asked by a fellow photographer to document their memories. Check out her beautiful work HERE. Most of all, I couldn’t wait to play with Charlotte (“Char-Nado” as she is lovingly and accurately nicknamed).
Loren sent me some sneak peeks of their outfits (PERFECT) and asked if we could shoot at the Zoar Gardens. This location has been on my bucket list for a while and let me tell you , it did NOT disappoint! I was also thrilled when I found out Taran with American Beauty Artistry would be handling Loren’s makeup! She is one of my very favorite Makeup Artists and you can see why. Although it was a humid and hot August evening, Loren’s makeup did not budge. I highly recommend using a good makeup artist for your photo sessions. Looking flawless and being worry-free is worth it, trust me!
The forecast was calling for rain but I should have known better. Ohio is predictably unpredictable! It was a gorgeous evening and this garden was magical. I loved the fun family moments we got and Char-Nado lived up to her name which was great! SO fun chasing this spunky little girl around. She was a blast! Finally, we ended with some sweet moments with Loren and Josh.
